Curriculum & Education

Overview

The Orthopedic Residency program at Albany Medical College is a five-year, ACGME-accredited training program that gives exposure to all facets of orthopedic practice at a major teaching and tertiary care medical center. Research is important to our faculty. In addition to clinical studies, our division collaborates with researchers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union College, participating in translational and basic science projects. Residents have presented nationally at various prestigious associations.
