Curriculum & Education
Overview
The curriculum includes clinical training, didactics, and research. Beginning in their internship year, residents participate in preoperative evaluation, operative experience, postoperative care, and outpatient clinic follow-up. It is competency-based and inclusive of all required disciplines, compliant with ACGME.
Application
Applications are accepted exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and must be submitted electronically via www.aamc.org/eras. The completed application must be available by November 1, 2022, for the 2023-2024 training year. Interview sessions occur in December 2022.

PGY-1 Salary
Vacation
Members of the house staff are entitled to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) each contract year, which must be used during the contract period and cannot be carried over to subsequent years. Requests for leave are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
